StarCruises is opening bookings for Star Navigator’s 2027 season, adding more ways to cruise to Japan and South Korea from Keelung and Kaohsiung.
Bookings open on October 1, 2026 for 13 roundtrip itineraries ranging from two to seven nights. The season runs from 11 December 2026 to September 1, 2027, with Keelung serving as the ship’s main homeport.
The shorter cruises focus on Okinawa, with options including Ishigaki, Naha and Miyakojima. The two- to four-night itineraries are designed around quick breaks, with several combinations covering more than one destination.
There is also a three-night New Year cruise departing Keelung on December 31, 2026, with passengers spending the start of 2027 at sea.
During the winter school holidays, Star Navigator will move to Kaohsiung from January 24, 2027 to February 4, 2027. It will offer two- and three-night round-trip cruises to Hong Kong and Okinawa during the period, including the Lunar New Year holiday. This gives travellers in central and southern Taiwan an alternative departure point without having to travel to Keelung.
For longer trips, the 2027 schedule includes several five-night Japan-South Korea itineraries. Routes combine destinations such as Busan and Jeju with Japanese ports including Sasebo, Nagasaki, Kagoshima, Fukuoka and Naha.
One sailing departing on March 21, 2027 falls during the spring travel season, while other departures run through April, May, June, July and August.
The longest itinerary is a seven-night Japan Discovery Cruise departing Keelung on August 1, 2027. The roundtrip route visits Kochi, Tokyo via Yokohama, Shimizu and Osaka, bringing four Japanese destinations into one trip.
