Malayan Flour Mills Bhd said the Kuala Lumpur High Court has granted Dindings Poultry Development Centre Sdn Bhd (DPDC) an interim stay pending the disposal of its judicial review proceedings involving a decision by the Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC).
DPDC is a joint venture of Malayan Flour Mills and is involved in proceedings relating to a Notice of Decision issued by MyCC pursuant to Section 40 of the Competition Act 2010.
The latest court order temporarily stays the effect of the matter under review while the judicial review proceedings are being determined.
Malayan Flour Mills has made a series of announcements on the case since August 2022, covering MyCC’s proposed decision, subsequent decision and related legal proceedings.
The company said it will make further announcements as and when there are material developments in the matter.
