Parts of Jalan Tengah will be closed nightly from Oct 3 until Dec 31, with traffic restrictions in place for about three months to facilitate preliminary utility works for the LRT Mutiara Line project.
Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) said the closures will take effect daily from 10pm to 5am.
The affected stretch covers the rightmost lanes in both directions between the Persiaran Mahsuri traffic light junction and Jalan Tun Dr Awang.
Other lanes will remain open to traffic throughout the closure period.
MRT Corp advised motorists travelling through the area to exercise caution and follow traffic instructions.
Signboards, traffic cones and flagmen will be deployed to manage traffic flow and ensure the safety of road users during the works.
