Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) acquired 10.26 million shares in Maxis Bhd on Sept 30, increasing its direct stake in the telecommunications group to 8.158%.
In a filing, Maxis said the shares were purchased by AmanahRaya Trustees Bhd, as trustee for Amanah Saham Bumiputera.
Following the acquisition, ASB’s direct interest in Maxis rose to 639.71 million shares, representing 8.158% of the company.
The filing did not disclose the purchase price or total transaction value.
The notice was dated Sept 30 and received by Maxis on Oct 2
