Betamek Bhd substantial shareholder Mirzan Mahathir exercised 900,000 shares under the company’s Employees’ Share Option Scheme (ESOS) on Sept 29, increasing his direct shareholding in the company.
Betamek said Mirzan’s direct interest increased to 1.8 million shares, representing 0.39% of the company.
He also holds an indirect or deemed interest of 315.87 million shares, equivalent to 68.503%.
Following the ESOS exercise, Mirzan’s total direct and indirect interest stood at 317.67 million shares, representing approximately 68.89% of Betamek.
