Rain could dampen the Formula 1 race at Sepang on Sunday, with thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds forecast in parts of Selangor, including Kuala Langat.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) issued a thunderstorm warning at 10am covering Kuala Langat and Klang, with the conditions expected to persist until 1pm.
The warning also covers several areas in Kedah, Penang and Perak, although Sepang is not directly listed among the affected districts.
The Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix is being held at the Sepang International Circuit from October 2 to 4, with the main race scheduled for Sunday.
Weather conditions around the circuit could affect travel and traffic, particularly if heavy rain develops during the race period.
