The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has suspended the services of My E.G Services Bhd (MYEG) and Zetrix AI Bhd effective today following their failure to transfer RM314 million in government revenue.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the outstanding amount involved government collections that had yet to be transferred to the MOT Accounting Officer’s Main Receipt Account for the period from May 19 to Sept 30.
The ministry has suspended the services pending further action over the outstanding government collections.
Loke did not provide further details on the breakdown of the RM314 million or the duration of the suspension.
