TSR Capital Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, TSR Bina Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a net sum of RM2.56 million following arbitration proceedings with Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd over the termination of a subcontract.
TSR Capital said TSR Bina received the final award dated Sept 15, 2026 from the Arbitral Tribunal.
Under the award, RM2,555,297.40 is payable to TSR Bina within 30 working days from the date of the award.
The amount was determined after the tribunal upheld the termination of the subcontract by Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay and took into account deductions allowed to the latter, sums previously paid to TSR Bina under adjudication decisions, as well as costs.
The tribunal assessed the value of works completed by TSR Bina at RM9.94 million.
TSR Capital said the arbitration award is expected to have a positive impact on the group’s earnings per share and net assets per share for the financial year ending June 30, 2027.
