FedEx Express Opens First FedEx Ship Centre in Kuantan

FedEx Express (FedEx) announces the launch of its FedEx Ship Centre (FSC) in Kuantan, the company’s first physical presence in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

With the new FSC, customers around Kuantan can drop-off and collect packages at their convenience, with greater accessibility to quick and reliable delivery to more than 220 countries and territories around the world.

The timing of the opening of the FSC supports the implementation of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) connecting Kuala Lumpur and the East Coast states. The project will change the economic landscape of the east coast by spurring development, encouraging investment and boosting economic growth in the region.

“Fast and reliable delivery is critical to the success of businesses, particularly for the small- and medium-size enterprises (SMEs), which make up of 98.5% of the businesses in Malaysia,” said Siang-Chung Chong, managing director, FedEx Express Malaysia. “Kuantan being the gateway to the East Coast is an ideal location for FedEx to serve the SMEs in Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan, and assist them to connect to opportunities around the world.”

The FSC in Kuantan is located in Jalan Darat Makbar. Opening times are Monday to Friday 9:00-18:00 and Saturday 9:00-13:00.  It will be closed on Sunday and public holidays.
