Pizza Hut embarks on continuous innovation initiatives in 2019

Pizza Hut Malaysia (“Pizza Hut”), Malaysia’s No. 1 pizza chain is starting the new year with full of passion with various collaborations lined up to continuously serve more than Malaysians’ gastronomical wants but inspire a heartwarming community as a whole.

Without keeping Malaysians waiting, Pizza Hut introduced the new “Krabby Cheese” pizza for Chinese New Year as a start to the exciting new year. Pizza Hut is furnishing their product innovations by exploring other food selections Malaysians gravitate towards such as crab and cheese — and the “Krabby Cheese” pizza was formed. With a focus to attract more young Malaysian adults, Pizza Hut wants to stay as a place for Malaysians to have good meals, reconnect with family and friends and to be one of their go-to place when they think of heartwarming meals with an innovation twist.

Pizza Hut is strengthening their position by actively expanding across Malaysia by targetting to open 15 more stores in 2019 and their 400th outlet opening in quarter one. Looking forward to expanding more than just outlets, Pizza Hut is driven to anchor innovation with products they product, digital platforms they tap into and brand position to stay fresh and relevant throughout.

Merrill Pereyra, Chief Executive Officer (Restaurants Division) of QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd says, “We’re very focused in that young Malaysian adults are our strong target and that has brought us to interesting partnerships coming up this year. We’re known for our great tasting pizzas and we want to do more for Malaysians by being active in social activities that would interest this age group as a whole — That gives a chance to expand in various platforms to stay fresh and significant in the F&B industry.”

Pizza Hut is going beyond the bounds of social media to speak to Malaysians but will be bolstering their digital platforms by and large to grant easy accessibility and convenience throughout their dining, take-away and delivery experience while at Pizza Hut.

In addition to that, Pizza Hut is also is extending help to blood cancer patients and partnering with Hospital Sultanah Aminah (HSA) to enable patients to live comfortably at a specially prepared health sanctuary, by HSA. Donations can be made via Donation Box at any Pizza Hut outlet, or RM0.20 can be donated from receipt of purchase.
