Insights Analytics Bhd (IAB) has secured a RM4.28 million contract from Sarawak Information Systems Sdn Bhd (SAINS) to provide maintenance and support services for the Intelli Water System over the next three years.
The company said its wholly owned subsidiary accepted a Letter of Appointment dated July 10 from SAINS on July 14. The contract, valued at RM4.28 million, is for a fixed sum and will run for 36 months without any price revision throughout the contract period.
Under the agreement, IATSB will provide maintenance and support services for the Intelli Water System to ensure the platform’s availability, reliability and performance in accordance with the stipulated service level agreement (SLA).
IATSB, formerly known as Exxor Technologies Sdn Bhd, specialises in water technology solutions and intelligent asset management systems. The company has established a strong presence in Sarawak through its digital water management and intelligent infrastructure solutions.
SAINS, incorporated in 1991, is Sarawak’s leading information and communications technology service provider, delivering digital solutions and technology services to the state government and public sector agencies.
IAB said the board does not foresee any material risks arising from the contract beyond the normal operational risks associated with project execution and maintenance services, adding that appropriate mitigation measures would be implemented in the ordinary course of business.
The company expects the contract to contribute positively to the group’s earnings over its three-year duration.
The award does not require shareholder or regulatory approval.
IAB also confirmed that none of its directors, major shareholders or persons connected to them has any direct or indirect interest in the contract.
The latest contract further strengthens IAB’s recurring income base from its water technology business, complementing its growing portfolio of intelligent water management and asset management solutions, particularly in Sarawak where the group continues to expand its presence.
