Launching of GAINS Education Group Sdn Bhd last October marks Zaliza Alias’s success in the education career. The Education Group which started 20 years ago with RM20,000 as a start-up capital, is worth close to RM15 million today and the group’s revenue is projected to increase to RM21 million this year from RM600,000 in 2006.
Zaliza’s passion in storytelling and theatrical works transpired in teaching. She believes the best method of teaching is through exploring, collaborating and implementing. This teaching method became phenomenal and shaped GAINS Education Group today.
With 3 schools under her purview – Genius Aulad, Idrissi International School and Sekolah Tinta, GAINS Education Group have nurtured 70,000 children, created job opportunities for 5,000 teachers and has created more than 50 successful franchise entrepreneurs.
With 2020 approaching, GAINS Education Group Sdn Bhd aims to be the preferred and trusted education brand with complete education eco-system from corporate infant care, preschool, primary and secondary to teachers training services.
The number 2020 is instrumental in GAINS’s development which started with only 20 students, as it will be celebrating 20th anniversary next year, and received RM2000 tax relief for Tadika (kindergarten) category in Budget 2020.
GAINS Education Group ensures all 89 schools and preschools are governed by and registered with the Ministry of Education (MOE). This year, our Idrissi International School as awarded 5 STAR Rating from MOE based on their strict Standard Quality Assurance for Private Schools (SKIPS). Idrissi International School is among 11 private schools which were awarded the rating out of 200 international schools nationwide.
