Mah Sing Group donates 30,000 face masks to Selangor

Mah Sing Group has donated 30,000 pieces of face masks to the state of Selangor, together with its corporate responsibility arm, Mah Sing Foundation (MSF).

Selangor chief minister, Amirudin Shari received the donation on behalf of the state where the masks will be distributed to the front liners and the people in efforts to limit the spread and impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

There are many states in Malaysia that are deeply affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, including Selangor – especially our front liners that are working tirelessly to keep us safe. Playing our part as a responsible corporate citizen, we hope that our contribution of 30,000 pieces of face masks to the Selangor state will aid to keep our front liners and the people safe,” said Mah Sing’s Founder and Group Managing Director, Leong Hoy Kum.

The property developer had previously pledged 20 units of heavy duty critical-care ventilators worth RM 3.9 million to the National Disaster Management Agency as well as donated RM 50,000 to the Tabung Bencana Negeri Johor for the purchase of protective equipment for the healthcare front liners in response to the shortage of medical equipment.
