Nak Beli, an e-commerce platform powered by MYEG has introduced Nak Makan, a new service platform.

Nak Makan will market freshly cooked meals and food products that can be ordered by customers online.

The first phase of the new service will include hosting a Ramadan e-bazaar where food vendors in KL, Putrajaya and Selangor can list their Ramadan fare on the Nak Makan website for customers to select and purchase online during the fasting month.

There are no deposits required for listing on the platform or for the use of delivery partners. Vendors will be able to operate from their own premises, and the Nak Makan delivery partner, MrSpeedy will collect the food from them to deliver to the customer.

The announcement comes as Ramadan bazaars have been banned from operating outdoors nationwide while the MCO is still in force.

For its second and third phase, plans are afoot to launch new initiatives such as e-Sahur, where customers can order food online and have them delivered for their pre-dawn meal, and e-Raya, where traders and vendors can promote and sell Raya-related goods including fashion ware, accessories, home décor and more.
