Montblanc reaffirms your writing experience with its latest Meisterstück Le Petit Prince editions

Montblanc has introduced its third and final addition to the writing instrument collection inspired by one of the most read work of literature. Highlighting the importance of love, caring and nurturing relationships, the Montblanc  Meisterstück Le Petit Prince & The Planet special edition  reinforces the famous Meisterstück writing instrument’s status as a precious treasure handed down from one generation to the next, along with the ideas and memories the writing instrument carries with it.

The collection is made up of three editions, with each one inspired by one of the original characters and the powerful life lessons they evoke.

The cap and barrel of the Montblanc Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Precious Resin Le Grand and Montblanc Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Precious Resin Classique are made of a polished  burgundy colour precious resin reminiscent of the rose, and enhanced with champagne-tone gold-coated fittings.

And immortalised on the handcrafted 14K gold nib of the fountain pen is the Little Prince weeding his planet. This represents the notion that true love comes from investing in and caring for people, just as the little prince cares for his rose and planet.

Contrasting with the precious burgundy translucent lacquered barrel, the champagne-tone  gold plated cap of the Montblanc Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Doué is etched with stars and  the name of asteroid “B612”. The 18K bi-colour champagne-tone gold nib is decorated with a delicate drawing of the rose.

Additionally, the Montblanc Meisterstück Le Petit Prince Solitaire Le Grand Edition is crafted from European hornbeam wood, stained in a wine burgundy colour. The wood cap is decorated with a milled star pattern featuring “B612” on the backside of the cap.

The clip of every edition is adorned with a lacquered golden colour star, a reference to the Little Prince’s invitation to the pilot to remember his laugh by simply looking at the stars above. The cap of each writing instrument is etched with the simple yet meaningful words the fox shares with the little prince: “On ne voit bien qu’avec le coeur.” (“One sees clearly only with the heart”). The fox’s life lesson is that what truly matters in life is what the heart and soul sees rather than the superficial not things we see with our eyes.

And to complete the writing experience, Montblanc has also introduced a fine stationery notebook in burgundy calfskin leather covered in embossed stars and gold foil details as well as a new burgundy colour ink inspired by the colour of Le Petit Prince’s rose.
