Hong Leong Bank announces CNY campaign to re-energise Malaysian through its finance offering

Hong Leong Bank Berhad (“HLB” or the “Bank”) has launched its Chinese New Year (“CNY”) campaign ‘Renew Together, Prosper Together’, to offer new savings opportunities with attractive interest as well as cashback for e-Ang Pows via DuitNow.

The campaign aims to urge Malaysians to renew, refresh and rebuild stronger this year and continue to embrace the new reality of living, and extend the spirit of reunion for this upcoming lunar CNY.

Domenic Fuda, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HLB shared that the spirit of reunion and coming together to overcome challenges is even more profound this Lunar New Year. She also shared the meaning of ‘Guo Nian’ and its history that binds generation of people to unite and come together every CNY eye, celebrating it with festivities regardless of what.

“The events of the past year have triggered circumstances that call for a re-examination on how we explore new possibilities to serve and support customers, how we work and support each other, and how we interact and build relationships to continue operating effectively. If CNY traditions have one thing to impart on us, it is that we can always overcome any challenges by being united in our mind, spirit, purpose and actions.” said Domenic Fuda.

Through the campaign, Hong Leong offers interesting finance solutions, saving alternatives includes financial loans, cashback, credit card, insurance and more offer with stimulating returns.  Apart from the exciting offerings, HLB has roped in renowned Chinese metaphysics Joey Yap and popular financial planning personality.

“As a community Bank, we will continue to serve and support our customers through our payment relief assistance plans as well as uplift the communities around us through offering relevant products and services that help clients with their finances and spending. More importantly, we will also continue to support individuals, SMEs and corporates seeking to strengthen and future-proof their finances and businesses,” added Domenic when speaking at the virtual launch of the campaign.
