HAUZ Develops Cloud-Based Data-Driven Platform To Address Remote Working Pain Points Faced By Employers

HAUZ, has developed a cloud-based, data-driven platform that aims to address the many pain points faced by business owners today, especially those in the service industry. With its robust solution, HAUZ aims to address challenges such as the lack of face-to-face communication between employees and difficulties employers face in maintaining clear visibility over workplace performance, scheduling and productivity.

Beyond that, employers have access to a comprehensive dashboard that provides an overview of overall employee productivity, attendance, and on-ground activities. Meanwhile, HAUZ’s Employee Store and E-leave features ensure that HR teams are able to keep track of digital employee profiles and manage leave applications respectively, all without the hassle of paperwork. The all-in-one platform is also able to assist employers in planning for and allocating the right budget for proper team management.

“We built HAUZ to support business owners, especially those running SMEs, in strategic workforce and operational management. Our application aims to boost overall employee productivity while ensuring that employers are able to maintain visibility over their workforce and operational activities so that they will be better able to make data-driven decisions that will result in sustainable growth. Ultimately, we hope to be able to support Malaysian businesses with our robust digital solutions as many attempt to stay afloat during this ongoing period of uncertainty,” said Di Yan Ho, CEO of HAUZ.

To remedy this and to ensure that the cash flow of businesses are not affected, the HAUZ platform is open to business owners with a minimal fee of RM3 per user, per month and users will be billed monthly instead of being tied to a yearly contract.

Taking into account that some business owners might find it difficult to comprehend the more technical aspects of the platform, HAUZ has a 24-hour customer service team on standby to provide these individuals with step-by-step instructions and guidance.

Over the next five years, HAUZ aims to empower small-scale enterprises to transform the way they manage their mobile workforce through the adoption of digital technology. To achieve this, HAUZ will be looking to introduce additional features like digital work passports, micro-lending capabilities for employees, a robust job search function, and a KPI tracker, among other things.

Di Yan further explains, “We aim to aspire not only the SMEs but their workers too. We are hopeful that the additional functions enable the workers to have a digital work passport that they can share with a prospective employer. Similar to a resume, the digital work passport will help workers to easily search and apply for jobs where it will display the workers’ experience, skills and qualifications so that they can improve their chances for better career opportunities.”

With over 5,000 users onboarded to date, HAUZ has served across multiple key sectors such as security, construction, engineering, and cleaning services, both locally and regionally including clients like Sungei Wang Plaza, Tealive, DNS Security, Delloyd Industries, BacFree Water Filters and Coffeebot.

The platform has supported over 150 companies across 2,600 locations in Malaysia and is planning to expand to Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam with targeted users of up to 20,000 by the end of 2022.
