ViewQwest Launches SecureBranch

Telecommunications and network solutions provider ViewQwest today announced the launch of ViewQwest Secure Branch, a bundled connectivity and branch security solution with Palo Alto Networks’ ML-powered Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).

ViewQwest customers from small and medium-sized businesses to enterprises with small or remote branches will be protected from both known and unknown threats, and allowed safe access regardless of where users are located.

Palo Alto Networks’ new PA-400 Series NGFWs are ideal for organisations in search of the lowest total cost of ownership (TCO), but wanting the best cybersecurity possible. They offer the same world-class security that larger appliances offer, but in a small desktop form factor. The PA-400 Series is available in four models: PA-460, PA-450, PA-440, and PA-410. These four models offer flexibility for a range of performance requirements.

Each one supports Zero Touch Provisioning, centralised management from Panorama and incorporates the latest in known and unknown threat protections covering Intrusion Prevention, Anti-malware, Web security, DNS security, and Remote VPN. This greatly simplifies management, visibility and security for distributed branches and enables consistent security across all locations.

Mr Vignesa Moorthy, CEO of ViewQwest said, “The PA-400 Series and attached Cloud-delivered Security Services reflect Palo Alto Networks’ all-encompassing Zero Trust Network Security approach that safeguards productivity by extending the same trusted Enterprise security to the new reality of remote, mobile and hybrid work.”

Ms Suk Hua Lim, Country Manager of Malaysia for Palo Alto Networks said, “The productivity of a hybrid workforce lies in the ability for users to move freely on and off the campus network and still securely access any applications or data from any device in any location.” She added, “With our Next-Generation Firewalls, ViewQwest customers can get consistent protection extended to their most remote locations and smallest branches with a compact size that is easy to deploy.”

Optimised to meet user needs

This offering from ViewQwest is available under two plans — as a standalone Firewall-as-a-Service plan or as a Bundle with its business connectivity service called ViewQwest Secure Branch.
