Selected Pos Offices Resume Operations At Flood Hit Zones

Pos Malaysia which had to close its pick-up and delivery centers in places that were flooded has now updated its list of places that have resumed operations.

This comes as the Ministry of Finance also issued an advisory note to all Ministries and agencies that the officially appointed document and goods delivery service provider for the government will face difficulty in delivering any documents or items due to the floods. While most of the Post Offices have now been opened for service, there are still some that will require time for the cleaning and upkeeping process to take place.

As of the latest report from the national courier agency (21/12), 8 kiosks and offices in Selangor are still closed with alternative locations suggested, for Pahang 9 Pos offices and kiosks are still non-operational and 1 in Melaka.

Customers are advised to check for updates on the Pos Malaysia official webpage or visit their Facebook site for the latest developments.
