Former Maybank Executive Joins Handal Energy As CFO

Handal Energy Berhad has announced the appointment of Azman Amiruddin Shah a former Maybank Country Head of Sales as its new Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.

Group MD Sunildeep Dhaliwall, noted the appointment comes as the new CFO had an extensive track record in financial management and possesses the necessary expertise in building operations and cultivating partnerships to deliver financial results.

Before joining Handal, Azman Shah served as Country Head of Sales at Malayan Banking Berhad overseeing all sectors of sales serving a wide range of clientele including multinational companies, the Government of Malaysia, Government Linked Companies, and other Financial Institutions.

He also served as the Group Treasurer at IHH Healthcare Berhad with responsibility for the treasury functions of the private healthcare provider spanning more than 10 countries. Azman Shah was also attached to Bank Negara Malaysia for 11 years in various capacities before he left Bank Negara Malaysia as Head, Tactical Foreign Exchange Trading Section.

Azman holds a graduate degree in wealth management from Singapore Management University under the Temasek Holdings Regional Regulators scholarship programme and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Frank Barton School of Business, Wichita State University.
