MRC And KPKK Celebrate 300 Asnaf And Kariah Mosque Members

The Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) together with the Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities (KPPK) today celebrated 300 people from the underprivileged asnaf, single mothers, senior citizens and mosque parishioners in a breaking of fast ceremony at Masjid Darul Ehsan, Taman Tun Abdul Razak (TAR), Ampang.

The ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Datuk Hajah Zuraida Kamaruddin, Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities (KPPK) through the handing over of a contribution of RM20,000.00 from MRC to Masjid Darul Ehsan, Taman TAR, Ampang, and two other suraus under the administration of the mosque. Surau Ihsaniah, Ampang Jaya and Surau Ubudiah, Jalan 4M, Ampang Jaya.

“Ramadan this time will definitely be more lively, especially when the country is now entering the endemic phase. As we enjoy the excitement and start preparing to celebrate the month of Syawal, we should be concerned and concerned about the bitterness of life of some of our society who are less fortunate, marginalized and burdened by the cost of daily living ”, said Zuraida.

Through this contribution of RM20,000.00, Masjid Darul Ehsan, Taman TAR, Ampang will receive a contribution of RM10,000.00 while Surau Ihsaniah and Surau Ubudiah will each receive RM5,000.00.

In addition, she welcomed such initiatives either with agencies under his Ministry or corporate parties so that more people will benefit through corporate social responsibility that must be met to ensure the prosperity of the surrounding community.

Also present were the Chairman of Masjid Darul Ehsan, Taman TAR, Yang Berbahagia Dato ‘Mohd Sallehuddin Othman; Tuan Yang Dipertua, Ampang Jaya Municipal Council, Yang Berusaha Tuan Mohd Fauzi; MRC Chairman, YB Dr. Daroyah Alwi and MRC Chief Executive Officer, En. Nor Hizwan Ahmad.

“Hopefully, with this assistance, they can ease the burden to some extent and hopefully their Ramadan will be more meaningful than in previous years.” said Daroyah.
