KDEBWM Offering Free Bulk Waste Collection In Conjunction With Aidilfitri

KDEB Waste Management (KDEBWM) is offering free bulk waste collection to the Muslim community in the state in conjunction with Aidilfitri.

Its Managing Director Ramli Mohd Tahir said the service was provided a week before Syawal to make it easier for residents to dispose of waste such as furniture.

“Muslim residents can collect any bulk garbage they want to dispose of outside their homes and cleaning staff will collect the waste without being charged.

“We just hope the waste is not too much for one house so that there is room for other neighbors to do the same,” he said.

He said this at a breaking of fast ceremony with 57 media practitioners at the Shah Alam Convention Center, last night.

Ramli added that the garbage will be collected at a location according to the set schedule.

“For example, in the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) area, we have placed Roll On Roll Off (RORO) bins in every park to make it easier for residents to dispose of any used items,” he said.

The service can be applied for by calling the KDEBWM toll-free line at 1-800-88-2824 or download the iClean Selangor application via PlayStore or google play.
