The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission has appointed Nik Mohd Noor Nik Kar as its secretary and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 17.
Nik Mohd Noor brings extensive legal and administrative experience, having most recently served as head of the Classified Cases Section in the Attorney General’s Chambers’ Civil Division.
He previously served in the Legal Division’s Contracts and Medical Negligence Unit from 2010 to 2017.
His other roles included Johor state legal adviser, Kuala Lumpur federal territory legal director, Sarawak Legal Aid Bureau director and investigating officer at the Home Ministry.
The EAIC said the appointment would ensure continuity in its administration and governance as it carries out its mandate under the EAIC Act 2009.
The commission also thanked Asliza Ali for her leadership and dedicated service during her two-year tenure overseeing its administration since 2024.
