Minister Of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin has decided to quit her party and will subsequently also inform the Prime Minister of her position as the Minister in the cabinet.
In an official statement posted on her Facebook page, the Minister had quoted that she will be looking to move from Bersatu the splinter party formed by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Datuk Seri Azmin Ali when they left Perikatan Nasional, and joined the newly formed Parti Bangsa Malaysia.
Zuraida is currently in Turkey and will then head to Athens to promote Malaysia’s timber industry in her capacity as MPIC Minister.
