PTPTN Launches Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan

The PTPTN launched the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) 2022-2024. OACP is a guide for the agency to support efforts to strengthen governance, integrity and anti-corruption.

PTPTN Chief Executive, Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid, said the plan outlines three major areas, featuring five strategic objectives and 12 action plans in total.

“Each action plan set takes into account the need for strengthening integrity, governance and anti -corruption.”

“The plan is also drafted comprehensively by looking at the issues and challenges faced by PTPTN,” he said in a statement today.

The launching of OACP PTPTN 2022-2024 as the main anti-corruption policy document at the organisational level, was inaugurated by Ahmad Dasuki at Menara PTPTN.

The launching ceremony was also attended by the Assistant Commissioner, Inspection and Consultancy Division of the Malaysian Anti -Corruption Commission (MACC), Mohd Syahrul Ridzuan Yahaya.

The launch of PTPTN’s OACP is in line with Initiative 2.1.5. The National Anti-Corruption Plan 2019-2023 under the second Strategy, namely Strengthening the Efficiency of Service Delivery, by requiring the public sector to develop anti-corruption plans at the level of their respective organizations.

As an agency under the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Ahmad Dasuki said, PTPTN is committed to supporting the government’s aspirations in creating a clean environment and free from corruption and abuse of power that can affect the image of the organisation.

“Aspects of monitoring and evaluation will be carried out by the PTPTN OACP Implementation and Monitoring Committee, to monitor the performance of its implementation until 2024,” he said.

He said efforts to improve human resource management, administration, finance, comprehensive use of technology systems, monitoring and strengthening of work processes would continue to be given attention.

He also added that, PTPTN hopes that the OACP developed for a period of three years can be appreciated and used as a comprehensive and inclusive reference for PTPTN employees.
