KAB Bags RM16.7 Million of Installation Works for Bon Kiara

Engineering and energy solutions provider, KAB has secured a Letter of Intent (LOI) worth RM16.7 million from Land Marker Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Bon Estates, to undertake electrical services installation works for the proposed 44-storey Bon Kiara condominium project in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

The scope of works involves the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical services installation and pile cap lightning protection earthing.

This would be carried out in the upcoming Bon Kiara development, featuring two condominium towers with a total of 410 residential units, a multi-level and basement car park, and a club house.

“This latest LOI for the Bon Kiara luxury condominium is our second major project with Bon Estates, after we completed similar works for The Estate in Bangsar South in 2021. This underscores the client’s confidence in our capabilities to deliver high-quality M&E engineering expertise for prominent developments,” Dato’ Lai Keng Onn, Managing Director of Kejuruteraan Asastera Berhad said.

“With this undertaking, our current M&E order book will increase to RM260.5 million, to be recognized over the next three years. We look forward to growing our M&E division and cover more projects in the construction and development sector,” he added.

KAB is a key player in Malaysia’s M&E services sector with proven expertise in high and low voltage electrical installation, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and maintenance services.

To recap, the Group has equipped other high-rise residential projects such as KL Metropolis (by NAZA TTDI), Agile Bukit Bintang (by Agile Tropicana Development), The Conlay (by Kerjaya Prospek) and Core Residence (by Core Precious Development).
