Sersol has been appointed as an agent by the Immigration Department of Malaysia for the Malaysia Premium Visa Programme. The PVIP is a long-term residency status visa that enables investors, entrepreneurs, and foreign talents to live and work or study in Malaysia for up to twenty years.
In a filing to Bursa, the company said the appointment would enable it to act as an agent on behalf of IDM to process up to three hundred applications with the appointment being valid for a period of three years.
The Board is of the opinion that the appointment allows the company to operate in a new business segment, thus diversifying its revenue stream. TIt is also of the view that the Appointment is in the best interest of the Company and its subsidiaries and barring any unforeseen circumstances, will contribute positively to the Group.
