GS Paperboard & Packaging (GSpp) reached another milestone with the completion of its Paper Machine 3 (PM3) on 15 November 2021. It clocked in its first paper on reel on 30 September 2021 and the commercial run has started since 01 April 2022.
To commemorate its inauguration, PM3’s Grand Launching Ceremony has been graced today by His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah.
PM3 is a 1.2-billion-Ringgit project, conceived as GSPP’s grander scheme of what it hopes to achieve in the coming years.
Its advanced paper-making technology is capable of producing high-strength, good quality Light Weight paper for making carton boxes without compromising on the attributes with the aim to better utilize the world’s natural resources.
