FBM KLCI Slipped 9.13 Points As Profit-Taking Ahead of GE

At 12.30pm, Bursa Malaysia ended the Tuesday morning session in red as the benchmark FBM KLCI index shed 9.13 points to 1,454.87. The FBM KLCI headed southward over the morning session as investors remain on the sideline ahead of the general election with profit-taking activities picked up.

Market breadth was negative with 450 decliners compared with 281 gainers. 352 counters were unchanged, 1,240 untraded, and 13 others suspended.

While trading volume was 1.6 billion shares with total value of RM800.69mil.

Top five gainers of the morning session were BLD Plantation, Kuala Lumpur Kepong, MSC, Signature International, Batu Kawan.

Top decliners were Aeon Credit Service, Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia, Rapid Synergy, Mulpha International.

Top five active counters were Advance Synergy, Borneo Oil, XOX, Top Glove and Supermax.
