FBM KLCI Inched Lower Weighed By Profit-Taking

Bursa Malaysia ended the Friday morning session lower attributed to profit-taking and lacklustre performance of regional peers. The benchmark FBM KLCI shed 16.75 or -1.12% at 1,485.13.

AT 9 am, the main index opened at 1,501.70. It was traded in the range of 1,481.38 – 1,504.16 for the morning session.

Top five active counters of the morning session were Advance Syngergy, MMAG Holdings, Infomina, Icon Offshore, Malayan United Industries.

Top five gainers were Hextar Technologies, Malaysia Airports Holdings, HL Industries, Computer Forms, SAM Engineering & Equipment.

Top five decliners were Nestle Malaysia, PPB, Malaysian Pacific Industries, PETRONAS Gas, Harrisons Holdings.
