FBM KLCI Lowered at Mid Day as Traders Taking Profit

Bursa Malaysia closed lower at Friday mid-day with the FBM KLCI shed 9.25 points or -0.62% at 1,482.26 following the negative cue from Wall Street as well as profit-taking activities by investors.

At 9 am, the main index opened at 1,489.36.

During the morning trading session, it was traded in the range of 1,479.70 – 1,489.36.

Top five gainers of the morning trading session were Heineken Malaysia, Frazer & Neave, Aeon Credit, PPB and Vitrox.

Top five decliners were Malaysian Pacific Industries, Kuala Lumpur-Kepong, Panasonic Manufacturing, Tenaga, Genting Plantation.

Top five active counters were Advance Synergy, Infomina, Velesto, MUI Industries, Progressive Impact.
