Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wants the Cabinet of Ministers and civil servants not to adopt a comfortable culture but instead to be determined to continue to implement changes in the country’s administration.
Speaking at the Prime Minister’s meeting with members of the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM) for the month of January 2023 here today, Anwar said that in any system, there must be desire and determination to bring about change.
“The system has been established for decades but there must be a willingness to humble ourselves to admit that there are strengths but when we put in new figures… there must be a desire to bring change… we must not have a culture of comfort that is a culture of contentment that will pull us down,” he said.
