MBSB Commits To Anti Corruption Principles

MBSB Bank Berhad (‘MBSB Bank’) made its promise for continued commitment to a high level of accountability and transparency by signing the Corporate Integrity Pledge.

By signing the pledge, MBSB Bank gives its commitment that the Bank supports Anti-Corruption Principles for Corporations in Malaysia and it upholds a zero-tolerance policy on corruption.

According to MBSB Bank’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Nor Azam M. Taib, “As an Islamic financial institution, we are aware that the responsibility is on us to uphold and cultivate good values including integrity. We have also implemented many proactive measures to institutionalise a culture of integrity including transparency in business deals, strict compliance with legislation and regulations, and high ethical standards.

“This ceremony is an initiative that demonstrates the determination and commitment of MBSB Bank employees in combating corruption and practices good governance in our daily work,” he added.
