The Prime Minister’s office has issued a statement on the claims of a viral message that states that Wednesday has been declared a public holiday by the Prime Minister after Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh won the oscar.
A notice supposedly issued by the department which is fake has been spreading on social media congratulating the Academy award winner and subsequently declaring Wednesday 15 March as a public holiday.
The public has been advised to ignore the message and also stop spreading misinformation.
