Bursa Higher At Lunch Break

Bursa Malaysia ended the morning trading session slightly higher on Tuesday (March 21), taking its cue from the positive Wall Street performance overnight.

At lunch break, the benchmark FBM KLCI had advanced 6.19 points, or 0.44%, to 1,408.0, from Monday’s close at 1,401.81.

The market bellwether, which opened 5.35 points higher at 1,407.16, moved between 1,405.12 and 1,412.81 throughout the morning session.

Market breadth was positive, with gainers leading losers 379 to 306, while 385 counters were unchanged, 1,184 untraded, and seven others suspended.
