Toll roads under IJM Toll Division which are Lebuhraya Sungai Besi (BESRAYA) and Lebuhraya Baru Pantai (NPE), will adopt the open payment system as announced by the Public Works Minister recently.

The government are fully committed to ensuring the smooth implementation of the open payment system. Through this, highway users will be able to use their debit or credit cards among others as methods for toll payment.”
Five highways nationwide will begin implementing an open payment system by September this year as reported recently by the media. Puan Wan Salwani further added that ”We have been engaging in numerous discussions with the Ministry of Works, the Malaysian Highway Authority as well as other relevant parties since early of the year on planning for the open payment system
The Minister did mention that by September this year, the open payment system will be made available to the public as such IJM said it will be putting efforts in meeting the timeline. The concessionare owns and operates BESRAYA and NPE highways under the purview of its Toll Division.
