Bursa Ends Morning Session Higher

Bursa Malaysia ended the morning trading session higher on Tuesday (April 25), as bargain hunting pushed the key index up.

At the lunch break, the FBM KLCI was 1.08 points higher at 1,423.19, from last Thursday’s close at 1,422.11.

Bursa and its subsidiaries were closed from last Friday to Monday, in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays.

The barometer index opened 0.16 of a point higher at 1,422.27 on Tuesday, and moved between 1,422.04 and 1,427.00 throughout the morning session.
