Gamuda Alternate Director Mohammed Rashdan Resigns To Assume New EC Post

Construction giant, Gamuda has announced the resignation of its Alternate director Mohammed Rashdan Mohd Yusof or fondly known as Danny Rashdan effective 25 April to focus his attention, energy, and effort on his newly appointed role as the Chairman of the Energy Commission.

Rashdan has 26 years of experience in the corporate finance and investment banking industry, corporate consultancy, and the financial services sector. He served as Executive Director (Investments) of Khazanah Nasional Berhad from 2010 to 2012 and as Chief Executive Officer of Maybank Investment Bank Berhad from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of BinaFikir Sdn Bhd from 2003 to 2008 and was the Managing Director of QuantePhi Sdn Bhd, a boutique corporate finance advisory firm he founded in 2012, until December 2017.

He joined Gamuda on 1 May 2018 as the Deputy Group Managing Director and was appointed as the Alternate Director to Dato’ Lin Yun Ling on 28 September 2018.

Rashdan holds 1,023,471 ordinary shares representing 0.04% held in nominee names.
