Securities Commission To Stage SCxSC GROW Fintech Conference

The SCxSC which stands for “Synergistic Collaborations by the SC”, is Securities Commission Malaysia’s annual FinTech event, which serves as an interactive platform for discussions and exploration of new and evolving digital trends in the capital market.

Since 2014, the SCxSC aims to enhance awareness on local, regional, and global FinTech development and trends, as well as bringing the FinTech community closer. It is an interactive platform for all ecosystem players such as policymakers, innovators, investors and financial services providers to discuss, share and explore new ideas and evolving digital trends in the capital market.

GROW is a new initiative under SCxSC to spur growth in strategic and underserved sectors / segments in Malaysia through alternative financing.

GROW has 4 main objectives:

Grow, nurture and revitalize targeted segments;

REACH

Reach out to wider pool of MSMEs, ecosystem players and relevant stakeholders by enhancing awareness;

OPEN

Open and explore opportunities for further innovation and competition to better serve targeted segments; and

WIDEN

Widen the pool of investor base to cater different needs of specific targeted segments

This conference which be held on Wednesday, 31 May 2023 at the Securities Commission Malaysia, will be targeted to the agriculture sector, raising awareness on AgTech trends and encourage discussions on emerging technology-driven financial innovations and solutions in the agriculture sector.
