Sidec’s Selangor Startup Day Celebrates Achievements Of 9 Malaysian Startups

Selangor Information Technology and Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) organised the Selangor Startup Day, to celebrate the achievements of nine startups that recently participated in the Pitch Malaysia USA Series programme, a four-in-one programme with an aim that highlights our promising startups, placing them in the spotlight of global investors to scale globally.

“Sidec recognises the pivotal role that startups play in driving innovation, creating job opportunities, and contributing to economic growth. To support and empower startups, Sidec has implemented a range of programs, resources, and platforms aimed at fostering a condusive ecosystem for their development,” said Yong Kai Ping, CEO of Sidec.

“From our trip to the U.S., we managed to connect with many potential collaborators and we hope to partner with them soon to bring what we have to the next level.” said Jason Low, Founder and CEO of VirtualTech Frontier.

During the event, several significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signings took place.

These include the agreements between Selangor Digital School and VirtualTech Frontier, Selangor Digital School and Accendo Technologies, and Wavpay and Revenue Monster.
