Tenaga Nasional Berhad via its subsidiary GSPARX Sdn Bhd. is offering homeowners, a special package for rooftop solar installation at zero upfront costs and a special early bird package for the first 150 customers who can save up to
RM4,999.
Starting today until 31st July 2023 those who chose to install can enjoy free maintenance of the solar systems for two years and free solar insurance for one year.
“The affordable solar installation offer comes with a special early bird package that will enable consumers to achieve significant cost savings while encouraging sustainable energy practices. Furthermore, this demonstrates TNB’s strong commitment to bolstering the Government’s Net Energy Metering (NEM) 3.0 initiative,” said Dato’ Indera Ir. Baharin Din, TNB President and Chief Executive Officer.
To enhance the accessibility of its solar packages, GSPARX has also partnered with financial institutions, offering customers a range of flexible financing options. These options include a 36-month interest-free instalment plan via a credit card or a financial loan with repayment periods of up to 10 years.
Through these financing options, GSPARX says it makes it easy for customers to become prosumers, a transformative role that offers both economic benefits and control over their energy usage.
Recently, the government has also announced that those who use electricity above a certain threshold or RM700 above will have to pay higher charges that equates to 25% more.
