Let’s Dim Sum At Dorsett Grand Subang, Dorsett Hartamas

As Malaysians, we all grew up with a wide range of must-haves and most loved food such as otak-otak and anything perhaps that’s lemon grass infused, curry chicken and petai. At Dorsett Grand Subang, we have now taken all these and more favourite foods to new heights.  Allow us to tease and tempt your tastebud with an interesting and new range of dim sum.

To spice up your palate, let’s dive into otak-otak siew mai, curry chicken bun, petai bun, black pepper siew mai and otak-otak lemongrass ball.  While we are at it, let’s not forget the steamed rice roll “Taiwan style’ with egg and smoked duck.  The Emperor Chinese Restaurant, known for its authentic Muslim-friendly dim sum also offers a range of all-time favourites ranging from its ever-so-famous steamed bun with BBQ chicken offering the fluffiest of bun; crispy cheong fun with prawns that’s undoubtedly everyone’s favourite by far, the oh-so-juicy and freshest of prawn dumplings, deep-fried prawn roll with cheese, deep-fried durian and not to be missed, the deep-fried Chinese pancake.  Although not on the menu, one can also ask the service staff to add this to your order.  If you are not a fan of Chinese pancake, rest assured you will want to try this one from The Emperor.  Pan-fried to perfection with the right crispiness and filled with generous amount of lotus paste, this makes the perfect sweet endings to a perfect Affairs of The Heart indulgence.

Petai Bun

For durian lovers, there’s the deep-fried durian that’s practically oozing with durian pulp with every bite!

Dim Sum at The Emperor Chinese Restaurant of Dorsett Grand Subang is available daily for lunch from 12 noon to 2.30 pm, except on Monday.  A-la-carte dim sum is priced from RM12 nett per order.  On Sunday, there’s the Dim Sum Brunch which is available from 11.30 am to 2 pm at RM108 nett (Adults) and RM85 nett for Senior Citizens aged 60 years and above.  Children between 6 10 12 years old is priced at RM54 nett.

All good things must be shared, as the saying goes.  And if Subang is a bit too far for you, fear not!  Dorsett Grand Subang’s range of Muslim-friendly dim sum is also available at Dorsett Hartamas’ Table Talk.  Available every Sunday from 12 noon till 3.30 pm, the Eat All You Can Sunday Dim Sum is priced at RM128 nett (Adult) and RM64 nett for Senior Citizens aged 60 and above.  Children between the ages of 6 to 12 is priced at RM54 nett per child.  Do take note however, the steamed variety of dim sum are all steamed a-la-minute based on your orders and will take approximately 15 mins to be served piping hot to your table.
