WTCKL’s MD Conferred CEO Champion (SME) At LAWA 2023

Group Managing Director of World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur Dato’ Sri Dr lrmohizam Ibrahim has been conferred the prestigious CEO Champion (SME) at the Life at Work Awards (LAWA) 2023 an initiative by Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (TalentCorp) in recognition of his exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to promoting diversity, ,equity and inclusion (DEi) within the workplace.

The awards ceremony was graced by V. Sivakumar (Minister of Human Resources), last night (Oct 19).

LAWA is a collaboration between the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development and  TalentCorp. Established in 2011. Meanwhile, TalentCorp  is  an agency  under the Ministry of Human Resources (MOHR) that drives Malaysia’s talent strategy towards becoming a dynamic talent hub.

LAWA is the most comprehensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEi) award framework in Malaysia, acknowledging the efforts of organisations that have successfully spearheaded the DEi agenda.

Dr lrmohizam remarkable achievement serves as a testament to his unique leadership style, characterised by a profound commitment to servant leadership and prioritising the well-being and growth of his people. His visionary approach has significantly contributed to creating a conducive and empowering work environment in Malaysia, fostering an atmosphere of growth and inclusivity .

His contributions extend beyond the national level, as evidenced by his pivotal roles in various esteemed international organisations.Dato’ Sri Dr lrmohizam Ibrahim holds the honour of being the first Malaysian to be elected to the prestigious World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) Board of Directors, showcasing his global recognition and influence within the industry.

Additionally, his position as the Chairman of Conferences & Exhibitions Member Advisory Council (MAC) WTCA underlines his profound expertise and extensive contributions to the Business Events industry.

lrmohizam remarkable achievements and contributions have not only elevated WTCKL’s standing but have also left an indelible mark on the global Business Events industry,serving as a beacon of inspiration for organisations worldwide.

Dr lrmohizam Ibrahim is currently away in New York, USA to attend the WTCA Board Meeting and WTCA Member Forum, however his presence was represented by Mr Mohd Yusri bin Junos (Group CEO of WTCKL) during the award night.
