Sersol Berhad has confirmed that it has terminated its renegade Chief Financial Officer who has been missing in action after the group suspended him in August this year.
Datuk Wira Justin Lim Hwa Tat (Datuk Wira Justin Lim) has been terminated from his duties with effect on 6 November.
Justin Lim was suspended for insubordination and failure to act as a responsible CEO due to non-response to any of the official requests made by the Board since 20 July 2023 including asking him to return to the office to report.
The board had also upon his return to provide a written response on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s inquiry on him and what work has he been doing as CEO while he is abroad.
It was seeking the basis to warrant Justin Lim as CEO to be abroad and away from office since February 2023 and expressed concerns about whether he has been effectively discharging his role as CEO of Sersol.
