Icon Offshore Bhd (Icon), via its wholly-owned subsidiary Icon Offshore Group Sdn Bhd (IOGSB), had been awarded with a Letter of Award (LOA) from SEA Hibiscus Sdn Bhd for the provision of one 60MT anchor handling tug supply vessel to perform their 2023/24 drilling campaign.
In a Bursa listing today (Nov 7), it said that the letter has been awarded on Oct 18, and the provision of service has started on Oct 24.
“The value of the contract is based on the schedule of rates issued by SEA Hibiscus throughout the contract duration.
“The contract duration is 450 days, with 30 days extension option based on the same terms and conditions, save for the prices and rates which shall be subject to mutual agreement between the parties,” it said.
It added risks is in the normal course of Icon’s business which include typical risks associated with the provision of anchor handling tug vessel services for drilling and project activities.
