Sentoria Group Executive Director Datuk Chu Boon Tiong has tendered his resignation citing personal commitments, the departure takes immediate effect.
Prior to his role, Datuk Chu worked in various industries such as information technology, interior design, and construction, where he was in charge of operations and project management until 2003. With over 15 years of experience in the property development sector, he has a sharp focus on housing and commercial development and vast experience dealing with contractors and bankers. In addition, he is actively involved in investment activities. Since 2004, Datuk Chu has been an entrepreneur involved in various businesses across multiple industries such as property, construction, information technology, and banking.
His business acumen has led him to create numerous business plans in collaboration with the board of directors to achieve set goals and objectives. In partnership with the board of directors, he has successfully met aggressive annual fundraising goals by securing financial support from foundations, corporations, individual donors, and government funding sources. As of 2 March 2021, Datuk Chu has served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of TFP Solutions Berhad, a company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities.
TFP Solutions Berhad’s principal activity includes ICT businesses such as providing software solutions/tools such as the Human Resource Management System and Enterprise Resource Planning Application, as well as mobile data services with e-money and e-wallet functionalities.
