Multi-brand premium automotive group, Sisma Auto, has opened a new flagship Volvo 3S centre at Sungai Besi, Volvo Sisma Auto Sungai Besi.
In a statement today (Nov 21), the group said the purpose-built four-storey building covering 55,000-square feet costs RM30 million and offers Volvo Retail Sustainable Experience incorporating various sustainable initiatives.
The initiatives include rainwater harvesting, solar energy, energy-efficient insulated shell facade design, energy-efficient lighting and ventilation, maximisation of greenery as well as uses Volvo’s latest sustainably sourced and produced furniture.
To cater to EV and Hybrid cars, it also has a high capacity 120kW DC charger for public use.
The group said the centre also houses the largest Volvo showroom in Malaysia with the capacity to display up to 16 new and SELEKT pre-owned cars.
Its managing cirector Syed Khalil Syed Ibrahim said that the new facility represented a significant expansion of its Volvo business and reaffirmed the company’s belief in the future of the Volvo brand in Malaysia.
“We started the Volvo business some six years ago and we had basically outgrown our original service centre in Glenmarie. This bigger and better facility is in response to the needs of our growing customer base and supplements supplements our existing sales location in Bukit Bintang.
“The adoption of electrified vehicles is taking off in Malaysia and we see tremendous growth opportunities as Volvo is already a pioneer among established automakers with an aggressive ambition towards a sustainable future,” he said.
Volvo Car Malaysia Sdn Bhd (VCM) managing director Charles Frump thanked Sisma Auto for its willingness to invest in growing the Volvo brand in the country.

The centre offers premium retail experience with Scandinavian-designed customer lounge. It is also equipped with all the latest Volvo computer diagnostic equipment, Volvo special tools, wheel alignment and balancing equipment.
“The facility and its Volvo-trained and accredited team are ready to handle the service requirements for all Volvos and offers home or office vehicle pick-up and drop-off,” it added.
The new Volvo SISMA Auto Sungai Besi is located along Sungai Besi Expressway, offering easy access and enables it to serve a large catchment of Volvo owners and prospects throughout the Klang Valley.
