Reyoung Bio Secures Exclusive Distribution Rights, Expected To Bring In RM1 Billion

Malaysia healthcare company Reyoung Bio Sdn Bhd (RBSB) has partnered with Japan Bio Products Co, Ltd (JBP) to obtain exclusive product
distribution rights in Malaysia.

In a statement, it said that the partners have also jointly established the first JBP Centre in Selangor, Malaysia — “Gingkyo” to provide professional healthcare services to the people and to promote the development of healthcare tourism in the country.

RBSB and JBP held the opening and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signing ceremony for the JBP Centre in Petaling Jaya this morning, attracting several representatives from the government and the private sector, as well as well-known local artists and opinion leaders.

JBP chief executive officer Frank Hong Seok Lim said the collaboration with RBSB is a significant milestone for the company.

“We are delighted to bring JBP’s quality products and services to Malaysia, thereby enhancing the economic output of the healthcare sector in both countries,” he said today (Dec 4)

Meanwhile, Reyoung Group chairman Stephen Wong King Siong said Malaysia is expected to receive over US$30 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) from Japan this year.

“I am pleased that this cooperation will benefit both countries and bring about an investment of approximately RM1 billion,” he said.

Reyoung Group chief executive officer Belle Lim Chiew Har said JBPs products and services are loved and respected.

“Obtaining exclusive distribution rights for JBP’s products will enable more individuals to purchase quality products from the right channels,” she said.

According to records from Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry, Japan has been Malaysia’s fourth-largest trading partner for eight consecutive years since 2015.

In 2022, the trade volume between Malaysia and Japan accounted for 6.4% of the country’s total trade, reaching US$41.26 billion (RM181.73 billion).

Others present in the ceremony were included Re Biotech Co, Ltd chief operating officer Katsumasa Tashiro, JBP Overseas Department director Satoshi Furukawa, Reyoung Group chief operating officer Dr Loh Wei Hao, as well as artists and other distinguished guests including Danny One, Cassey Soo, Yunna Tan, WeiWei, and Crystal Ong.
