Nozo Hotel Of Malaysian LGB Group In Hokkaido Invites Malaysian Visitors

The newly established Nozo Hotel, owned by the Malaysian LGB Group, is set to welcome guests in the snow-laden paradise of Furano, Hokkaido, on December 19, 2023.

Timed perfectly for Japan’s ski season, the international hotel is enticing visitors with opening offers of up to 20% off, making it an attractive destination for those looking to experience a lavish winter wonderland.

Hokkaido has long been a favorite among Malaysian tourists, with 21.1% of all Malaysians visiting Japan in 2019 choosing to explore this picturesque region. To cater to the growing demand, AirAsia X has announced four weekly direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Sapporo, starting from December 2023.

The Nozo Hotel is conveniently accessible, situated just a two-hour drive from Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport, with additional access via domestic flights from Tokyo or Osaka. The hotel is also conveniently located near Asahikawa Airport, a mere one-hour drive away.

The hotel, boasting 78 chic yet cozy rooms, offers a three-minute walk to the renowned Kitanomine powder snow and snowboarding slopes, making it an ideal haven for nature lovers year-round. Designed with respect for local culture, adventure, and nature, the hotel stands as the first international ‘lifestyle hotel’ in the area.

Guests can immerse themselves in the spirit of Hokkaido with minimalist guest rooms featuring light wood tones, calm grey stone flooring, and blue-toned bathrooms. Accommodation options include Superior and Deluxe rooms for two, as well as larger Family Rooms and Junior Suites for families.

Nozo Hotel’s Shirakaba (Birch) Restaurant serves a diverse range of culinary delights, from a western and Japanese breakfast buffet to lunch options such as pizzas, sandwiches, sushi, and local specialties. The dinner menu includes French-inspired international cuisine, fresh seafood treasures of Hokkaido, premium teppanyaki, and specialty ingredients from nearby fields and pastures.

The hotel’s amenities extend to communal hot water baths in the spa, a Kids Room, a gym, coin laundry, ski lockers, a shop for daily necessities and Hokkaido souvenirs, and even an ATM for added convenience. For those seeking larger venues, an open-plan event room accommodates up to 50 guests for various events.

To celebrate the opening, Malaysian guests booking a 3-night consecutive stay at Nozo Hotel between December 19, 2023, and September 30, 2024, will receive a 10% discount, while those opting for a five-night consecutive stay will enjoy a 20% discount.

As the first in a planned boutique resort brand, Nozo Hotel aims to offer a retreat for all seasons, with activities ranging from winter sports to biking, hiking, and water rafting in the warmer months. Furano, nestled between the Yubari and Tokachidake mountain ranges, promises an enchanting experience throughout the year, attracting travelers with its diverse landscapes, vibrant colors, and a rich array of local produce.
