Sapura Resources has announced the appointment of Azzaddin Abdullah with immediate effect as its new Chief Financial Officer after the departure of the current CFO.
Azzadin a Chartered Accountant was the Chief Financial Officer at Icon Offshore Berhad from 2021 – 2023 before joining Sapura and prior to that he was the Head of Corporate Finance at Cyberview Sdn. Bhd. Notably he was also the Country GST Project Lead for Shell Malaysia Upstream CP – Sarawak Shell Berhad and has been with the company since 1996 in various capacities.
He joins the group at a strategic time, looking to restrategise its financials and chart the path appropriately for a recovery.
